Email: hello@neatlif.com

2. Information we process

Information you provide

When you contact Neatlif by email, we may process your name, email address, message and any other information you choose to provide. Email correspondence is handled using Fastmail.

Analytics and browser error information

If you consent to analytics, Neatlif uses PostHog Cloud EU with default autocapture and selected custom events. PostHog may process page views, page URLs, referring pages, button and link interactions, pseudonymous browser identifiers, browser or device information, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address and unhandled browser error data. Session recording is disabled.

Website and security logs

Cloudflare provides website hosting, content delivery and security services. Its infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information, security signals and error data.

This corporate website does not collect account or payment information. Website analytics are not used to create advertising profiles or make legally significant automated decisions.

Neatlif processes personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:

  • Analytics and browser error monitoring: with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
  • General enquiries: for Neatlif’s legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in receiving and responding to business communications.
  • Enquiries about purchasing or contracting services: to take steps at your request before entering a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Website operation, security and abuse prevention: for Neatlif’s legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in providing a reliable and secure website.
  • Compliance and required record keeping: where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

When Neatlif relies on legitimate interests, it considers the necessity of the processing and its effect on your rights and interests.

PostHog analytics and browser error monitoring are optional and begin only after you select Accept analytics. Refusing analytics does not prevent you from using the website.

If you consent, PostHog may use cookies and browser local storage to maintain pseudonymous identifiers and recognise visits over time. PostHog analytics data is retained for three months. Browser identifiers may remain until they expire or you clear your browser data.

The website stores your analytics preference in browser local storage so that it can respect your choice. The preference remains until you change it or clear your browser data. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the analytics controls on this page. Withdrawal stops future analytics collection but does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

The website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising tracking.

5. Sharing and service providers

Neatlif does not sell personal data.

Neatlif uses the following service providers where necessary to operate the website and communicate with you:

  • PostHog: EU-hosted website analytics and browser error monitoring, activated only with consent.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, security and technical request processing.
  • Fastmail: company email and correspondence.

These providers may use subprocessors to deliver their services. Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect legal rights, or to investigate security incidents and abuse.

6. International transfers

Although PostHog analytics is configured for its EU-hosted service, Neatlif’s providers or their subprocessors may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires safeguards for such transfers, these may include an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You may contact Neatlif for further information about safeguards relevant to your personal data.

7. Data retention

Neatlif applies the following retention periods:

  • General email enquiries: 24 months after the last correspondence.
  • PostHog analytics and browser error data: three months.
  • Cloudflare technical and security logs: 30 days.
  • Analytics preference: until you change the preference or clear your browser data.

Information may be retained longer where necessary for an active contract, a legal claim, or compliance with an applicable legal obligation. After the relevant period, information is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.

8. Your rights

Where GDPR applies, you may have the right to:

  • obtain access to your personal data
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • request erasure of your personal data
  • request restriction of processing
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • receive data in a portable format where applicable
  • withdraw consent at any time
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise a right, contact hello@neatlif.com. Neatlif may ask for information necessary to verify your identity. Neatlif will normally respond within one month. This period may be extended by up to two further months where permitted by GDPR, in which case Neatlif will inform you of the reason.

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) through naih.hu, or with another competent supervisory authority.

9. Providing information and automated decisions

You are not legally required to contact Neatlif. If you do not provide an email address or enough information about your enquiry, Neatlif may be unable to respond.

Neatlif does not use personal data collected through this website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

10. Children

This corporate website is not directed to children, and Neatlif does not knowingly collect personal data from children through it. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact Neatlif so that the information can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.

11. Security

Neatlif takes proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

Neatlif may update this policy when its website or data-processing practices change. The date shown at the top of the page identifies the latest version. If a change requires new consent, Neatlif will request it before beginning the new processing.
